This class will be delivered in a sensory friendly environment in the centre and the Sensei has had full autism awareness training, enhanced dbs checked and various other training and is very patient and understanding of everybody who attends the class needs. He works at the young persons pace and doesn't rush them into learning new skills. They are also allowed to take sensory breaks as and when needed. Parents and siblings are encouraged to join the sessions and turn it into a family activity. This class is offering a opportunity to learn a new skill in a environment that suits all we have seen a few young people gain lots of self confidence and creating friendships during these sessions.
